Inside the Thinking Behind Torqevixes
Torqevixes was created to make containerization engines easier to study through clear, structured, and connected learning materials. The course collection focuses on how images, runtime behavior, networking, storage, resources, configuration, lifecycle stages, and multi-container environments work together as part of a wider technical system.

The project was developed by David Manuel Abrantes Neves, a Container Infrastructure Engineer and Technical Educator with experience in containerized environments, runtime configuration, infrastructure structure, technical documentation, and system analysis.
David became interested in containerization while working with technical environments where several components had to operate together. He noticed that many learning materials explained individual topics separately, but did not always show how those topics connected in real technical workflows.
Because of this, he began creating his own notes, diagrams, environment maps, and structured explanations. Over time, these materials developed into a broader learning approach focused on relationships between components rather than isolated definitions.
This approach later became the foundation of Torqevixes.
David wanted to create learning materials that could help learners understand containerization engines in a more organized way.
Instead of studying images, containers, storage, networking, processes, and runtime settings as unrelated topics, Torqevixes presents them as parts of one technical environment.
The courses are arranged in a gradual sequence. Introductory tiers focus on foundational concepts, while later tiers explore runtime coordination, multi-container environments, dependency relationships, system-wide review, and structured technical analysis.
The goal is to make the learning path clear and practical without overwhelming learners with disconnected information.
David Manuel Abrantes Neves works in the field of container infrastructure and technical systems.
His background includes work related to:
- Containerized application environments
- Runtime configuration
- Infrastructure organization
- Storage and network relationships
- Multi-container workflows
- Resource allocation
- Environment review
- Technical troubleshooting
- Technical documentation
- Internal technical training
During his work, David has been involved in reviewing technical environments, organizing configuration relationships, documenting system structure, and helping others understand how containerized workloads interact.
He has also created learning materials, diagrams, workflow guides, and structured technical references for people studying infrastructure and container concepts.
David has several years of experience working with technical infrastructure and containerized environments.
His work has included collaboration with software teams, infrastructure groups, technical education projects, and digital service environments.
He has worked with topics such as runtime behavior, container lifecycle, persistent storage, communication paths, resource relationships, environment configuration, and dependency mapping.
A large part of his approach is based on making complex systems easier to review by breaking them into smaller connected areas.
For example, instead of looking at a communication issue only as a network problem, he considers whether runtime state, configuration, storage, readiness, or a dependency may also influence the behavior.
This way of thinking is reflected throughout the Torqevixes course structure.
David’s teaching style focuses on structure and technical relationships.
He prefers to explain:
- How one component connects to another
- Why a configuration value matters
- How lifecycle changes affect dependent workloads
- How storage and network relationships influence runtime behavior
- How logs and monitoring can be reviewed in context
- How technical problems can be approached step by step
The materials are designed for self-paced study and can be reviewed offline after download.
Learners can move through the courses in sequence or return to individual modules when they want to review a specific topic.

Each course tier builds on earlier material and introduces more detailed relationships between these areas.
Torqevixes is built around clear learning structure, technical context, and connected system thinking.
The aim is not to present containerization engines as a long list of separate terms.
Instead, the courses show how the parts work together across complete environments.
David Manuel Abrantes Neves created Torqevixes to provide learners with a more organized way to study containerization engines and develop a clearer understanding of how modern containerized systems are structured.
